Bloomsbury Film Studio is used by corporate communications teams, in-house video producers, and the PR agencies that work with them. If you need a professional space in central London to record talking heads, CEO pieces to camera, internal comms videos, or thought-leadership interviews — this is what it is designed for.
The studio is pre-lit. You do not need to bring a lighting engineer. The white infinity curve wall, green screen and black drapes are all available — which you use depends on your visual identity and how you plan to cut the footage.
On the sound side: the studio is soundproofed to 54 dB, which in practice means that street noise outside does not reach a microphone inside. Watch the demonstration →
If your team includes a camera operator, hire the studio only. Lighting is rigged, the space is sound-treated, backgrounds are available. Bring your kit and shoot.
If you need us to handle camera and sound, our studio package includes a Sony FS7 (or Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro), lenses, boom and lapel mics, and an in-house camera operator who will set up and run the shoot. Teleprompter / autocue is available for an additional £50 + VAT — useful for scripted pieces to camera.
Getting senior people in front of a camera is hard enough without asking them to travel to a studio in west or east London. The studio is a five-minute walk from Russell Square Underground and twelve minutes from King’s Cross. Executives based anywhere in London can come in on their way to or from a meeting, or in a lunch break. No one loses half a day to travel.
